Introduction

Cybersecurity awareness is a fundamental responsibility for every employee, regardless of their role or technical background. Human error remains one of the leading causes of security incidents, making awareness, good judgement, and secure daily practices essential for protecting organisational data, systems, and reputation.
This five-day course provides practical knowledge and skills to recognise common cyber threats, follow secure working practices, and respond appropriately to security incidents. Participants will learn how to identify phishing attempts, protect sensitive information, secure devices and accounts, and contribute to a strong organisational cybersecurity culture through realistic workplace scenarios and hands-on exercises.

Recognise common cybersecurity threats, vulnerabilities, and attack methods that affect organisations and individuals.
Apply secure working practices to protect passwords, devices, networks, and sensitive information.
Identify phishing, social engineering, and other cyberattack techniques and respond appropriately.
Follow organisational security policies, incident reporting procedures, and data protection requirements.
Promote a security-aware culture by applying cybersecurity best practices in everyday workplace activities.

- All training sessions are conducted from Monday to Friday, following the standard working week observed in the United Kingdom and European Union. Saturday and Sunday are official weekends and are not counted as part of the course duration.
